  1. Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Examination
    Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Examination is Lippincott's online platform for delivering more than 8 hours of video content that provides head-to-toe and systems-based physical examination techniques for the advanced assessment or introduction to Clinical Medicine course or for practitioners requiring a review of the History & Physical.
     
  2. BMJ Best Practice
    BMJ Best Practice is an evidence-based generalist point of care tool uniquely structured around patient consultations, with advice on symptom evaluation, test ordering, and treatment approaches.
     
  3. BMJ Learning
    BMJ Learning offers high-quality continuing medical education for doctors and other healthcare professionals. It features hundreds of accredited, peer-reviewed learning modules in text, video, and audio formats.
     
  4. BMJ OnExamination
    BMJ OnExamination for MBBS Students is an online platform that helps students revise their learning. It will help students to reinforce their learnings and gain knowledge and examination skills. 
     
  5. CINAHL Ultimate
    CINAHL Ultimate is the new definitive resource for nursing and allied health research, providing full text for more of the most used journals in the CINAHL index than any other database. It covers over 50 nursing specialties and includes quick lessons, evidence-based care sheets, CEU modules, and research instruments. More than 5,600 journals indexed covering nursing and allied health. It also includes other ancillary subject areas that support nursing and allied practice (e.g., biomedicine, health services administration, public health, etc.).

    The Cochrane Library is a collection of databases (Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials - CENTRAL, and Cochrane Clinical Answers) that contain high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. The Cochrane Library is owned by Cochrane and published by Wiley.

  9. Dynamic Health CDS & Skills
    Dynamic Health CDS+Skills is an innovative, evidence-based resource that helps nurses and allied health professionals master critical skills. Users can find current, actionable information about core nursing competencies, transcultural care, patient training, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nutrition and dietetics, social work, and more.

  10. EBSCO Dental Collection (Dentistry & Oral Sciences Source)
    Dentistry & Oral Science Source is the definitive full-text research database for dental practitioners and researchers. It offers top dental and oral sciences journals commonly purchased by dental schools and related institutions. Subjects include dental public health, endodontics, odontology, orthodontology, periodontology, and prosthodontics—access top journals like the Journal of Dental Research, all the Quintessence journals, etc.
     

  11. Embase
    Embase is a highly versatile, multi-purpose, and up-to-date biomedical database. It covers the most important international biomedical literature from 1947 to the present day, and all articles are indexed in depth using Elsevier's Life Science thesaurus Embase Indexing and Emtree®. It is also useful in conducting systematic reviews.

    Incision Academy is a surgical education platform for sharing surgical skills and knowledge using standardization and a systematic approach. Incision Academy provides access to a wide range of courses of procedures filmed in 3D from the surgeon’s point of view.
     

  13. Journal Citation Reports (JCR)
    Journal Citation Reports® is a comprehensive and unique resource that allows evaluating and comparing journals using citation data drawn from over 12,856 scholarly and technical journals from more than 3,300 publishers in over 83 countries. It is the only source of citation data in journals and includes virtually all areas of science, technology, and social sciences. Journal Citation Reports can show the following:

  • Most frequently cited journals in a field 
  • Highest impact journals in a field 
  • Largest journals in a field 

Citation and article counts are important indicators of how frequently current researchers use individual journals. JCR offers a unique perspective for journal evaluation and comparison by tabulating and aggregating citation and article counts.

    Lippincott Advisor provides immediate access to the information nurses need most. The industry’s leading clinician-based online resource is designed for the point-of-care environment and can provide the most current evidence-based information needed to practice confidently.
     
  3. Lippincott Procedure
    Lippincott Procedures, a web-based, go-to source for step-by-step clinical guidance, has over 2,200 procedures and skills from a wide variety of nursing specialties, including medical-surgical, critical care, obstetric, pediatric, neonatal, ambulatory care, pediatric intensive care, perioperative, oncology, behavioral health, and long-term care. In addition, it also includes allied health procedures for respiratory therapy and physical therapy.
     
  4. MedOne ComSci
    MedOne ComSci is an electronic resource for undergraduate and graduate students in communication science, speech pathology, audiology and professionals practicing in those disciplines. Content is accessible through a simple but powerful search tool or browsing.

    The world’s leading bibliographic source for biomedical scholarly literature and research - with easy linking to full-text journals. Updated daily, MEDLINE on the Ovid platform offers novice and expert searchers seamless and up-to-the-minute access to over 23 million of the latest bibliographic citations and author abstracts from more than 5,600 biomedicine and life sciences journals in nearly 40 languages (60 languages for older journals). English abstracts are included in more than 80% of the records.
     
  2. ProQuest Central
    ProQuest Central is the largest single periodical resource available, bringing together complete databases across all major subject areas, including Business, Health and Medical, Language and Literature, Social Sciences, Education, Science, and Technology, as well as core titles in the Performing and Visual Arts, History, Religion, Philosophy, and includes thousands of full-text newspapers from around the world.
     
  3. ProQuest Health and Medical Collection
    Users in academic libraries can find definitive research information in ProQuest Health and Medical Collection. The database has over 3786 journals. The database includes all charts, diagrams, graphs, tables, photos, and other graphical elements essential to medical research. The journals cover all major clinical and healthcare disciplines, including cardiovascular diseases, pediatrics, neurology, respiratory diseases, dentistry, anesthesiology, and others.   5. ProQuest Library Science Database
    Library Science Database gives users full-text access to publications relevant to library and information science. It covers a range of titles and topics relevant to the theoretical and applied study of library science, including trade publications aimed at the library profession and scholarly journals.
     
  6. ProQuest Psychology Database
    This database provides abstracts and indexing for key Psychology titles, many of which are in full text. Many titles are indexed in PsycINFO. Coverage ranges from behavioral, clinical, cognitive, developmental, experimental, industrial, and social psychology, personality, psychobiology, and psychometrics.
     
  7. ProQuest Public Health Database
    ProQuest Public Health is a new and unique database designed to be the ideal starting point for public health information and research. It delivers core public health literature with centralized access to over 800 publications, with over 500 in full-text.
     
  8. Research To Publication
    Research to Publication is an online educational tool to help researchers design, conduct, and research reports that journal editors will want to publish.   • Taylor and Francis Online: Access to 185 Taylor and Francis Group’s Medical Library online journals with back file access for all the titles (wherever available) since 1997 and 4914 ebooks
  • Wiley Online: Access to Wiley Complete Medical Collection 670+ online journals with back file access for all the titles (wherever available) since 1997
     

Users can access all online databases, journals, books, and other learning resources through the desktop computers available at the library's internet kiosks or computer lab (Levels I to IV). These resources are also accessible from any computer on the campus network (IPs) and remotely via OpenAthens (SSO) through the library website: https://manipal1.stacksplatform.com/.
